Mojang Studios is preparing several surprises to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Minecraft, one of the most popular and influential games of recent years. Of course, the studio wants to spoil its entire community, so it prepared a series of cool giveaways.
The developer announced a 2-week campaign in which it will give away a daily reward for the title. Fans will be able to use them to customize and give a special touch to their characters, as they are cosmetic items that will celebrate each year of the hit Xbox game.
Minecraft will celebrate its 15th anniversary with many gifts
Through its social media, Mojang Studios announced that it will give 15 freebies to all Minecraft players. The daily rewards will be given out from May 15 to 29 and each one will represent 1 year of the title's history. So they will be nostalgia-laden freebies.
The free items will be usable in the character creator. Mojang Studios has not revealed what the freebies will look like, so it invited players to log into the game daily to learn about them, add them to their accounts and start using them.
He also confirmed that he will present each of the collectibles on Instagram, in the stories of the official channel of the franchise. For now, it only shared a brief video where you can see the silhouettes of the 15 gifts for this special celebration.
Mojang Studios also stated that this campaign is just a part of the surprises prepared for Minecraft's anniversary celebrations. Players were enthusiastic and thanked the studio for the giveaways. You can watch the announcement below:
