Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is one of the most anticipated games for the coming months; however, the new installment of the fighting saga still does not have a confirmed release date. Fans of the franchise have speculated about it and believe that the most recent trailer of the game is the clue to predict the release date of the attractive title.

Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft released the “Master and Apprentice” video this week, in which they introduced 10 more characters for the roster. Companies usually reveal groups of 10 and 11 characters in each trailer, so fans figured out how long it will take to introduce all 164 fighters for the title.
At the time of this writing, 61 characters have been confirmed, which means there are 103 to go. Usually, studios have released one trailer a month. With this in mind, the community speculates that at least 10 gameplay videos are missing, which translates to a wait of 10 to 9 months.
This would imply that the game would arrive in early 2025. Some fans are of the opinion that Bandai Namco will be looking for a very special date to release the game worldwide, so they are betting on next year's Goku Day, which is celebrated on May 9.
“Assuming they release 10 characters per trailer, the game should be 10 months away. Next year during Goku Day, maybe.,” said one fan.
Some gamers agreed that this would be the right date for the release; however, some of the community is not at all fond of the idea. Many fans are hopeful that the title will debut sometime this year. Hints suggest that it could arrive in late 2024, but also in early 2025 as fan estimates predict.
