La Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión (BAFTA, por sus siglas en inglés) anunció los nominados a los premios anuales de videojuegos, donde Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice logró 9 nominaciones, incluyendo mejor juego.
En la lista encontramos Horizon: Zero Dawn con 8 nominaciones, What Remains of Edith Finch consiguió 7, mientras The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild y Gorogoa obtuvieron 5.
Asimismo, la BAFTA presentará el premio Juego más allá del entretenimiento, que busca reconocer a los juegos "que ofrecen una experiencia transformadora más allá del entretenimiento puro". En esta categoría encontramos Bury Me, My Love, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Last Day of June, Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, Night in the Woods y Sea Hero Quest VR, títulos nominados por abordar una variedad de problemas sociales.
