This Wednesday, the publisher Wired Productions and the developer Nosebleed Interactive finally announced the release date for Arcade Paradise, so now we know that this retro arcade adventure game will be released this coming August 11
"With the keys to the family laundromat, Ashley decides to transform the business and give the sleepy town of Grindstone something to get excited about! Stay one step ahead of your father, manage and invest profits, and build your very own Arcade Paradise!"
That is the official synopsis of this game, which promises to "smell like our memories", offering us a complete package in which everything looks, sounds, and feels like in the 90s, when arcade machines were a very important part of the video game industry. Pure nostalgia in this title was created with love.
Oh, and by the way, on an interesting note, Doug Cockle, famous for voice acting both in Victor Vran and The Witcher series, is the one who plays the role of Ashley's berating father.
During this game, we'll receive a lot of phone calls from Doug sharing his wise words of advice and reminders to fix the toilet.
Here's the trailer
As we already said, Arcade Paradise launches on August 11, and will be available on every modern platform you can think about it; PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
