A Light in the Dark is a graphic novel where the story will present you with two very different realities; one is that of a rich boy trapped in his monotonous daily life, and the other is a brave girl who struggles to survive every moment.
There are visual novels so captivating with their stories that they are worth giving them a try.
In the story, we will meet Hao-Chen Jiang, who wakes up in a dark room and, trying to get up, finds his arms tied, realizing that he has been kidnapped.

The game offers you a tense environment from the beginning where the protagonist must face a mysterious girl who informs him that unless his family agrees to pay a ransom, he will not be able to leave the place alive.
It is worth mentioning that this proposal presents a part that shows different cinematics and another one with interactive aspects, in which Hao-Chen will be able to examine elements that surround him, all this to try to find a way to escape from his kidnapper. An interesting point of A Light in the Dark is that depending on your actions; you will get different endings.
In the middle of 2018, publisher Sekai Project and developers CreSpirit, Storia, and Narrator released the game on PC. A few years have passed since then, and they have just confirmed that it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch very soon.
It will undoubtedly be a good option for all PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch users once it launches in the fall of this year.
