A few months back, I shared with you guys the announcement of one of the least expected movies I ever hoped to exist in the horror genre. The film Blood and Honey has created a negative feeling in everyone; people aren’t sure if they should feel worried for those who came up with this idea. This project can be described as a very twisted way to take advantage of using Winnie the Pooh and friends now that they have entered the public domain.
As we know by now, in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, Pooh leads the story as an eerie character alongside Piglet, which apparently now has turned into an intimidating hog (after all his insecurity issues… goof for him, I guess?) The bottom line is, so far, we knew that Pooh and Piglet were still very close friends, but we weren’t so sure if they could still be friends with us. The internet even suggested they could be two serial killers in costumes, but this is not the case. Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the writer and director of the movie, has confirmed that the story revolves around the original characters:
"The story is meant to be that they've gone on this onslaught from being kind of enraged by what's happened to Christopher… Pooh and Piglet experience a drastic drop in food (as Christopher grows up) and become increasingly hungry and feral over the years. They had to resort to eating Eeyore, and then Christopher returns with his wife to introduce her to his old friends, and when that happens, they get enraged when they see him and all of the hatred that Pooh and piglet built up over the years unleashes and they go on this rampage."
Yeah, well… the information keeps coming, and the movie keeps getting creepier. And as if this weren’t enough, today, the official movie poster appeared to haunt your childhood memories:

A premiere date hasn’t been confirmed, nor has the cast that will take part in this gruesome story. Are you considering watching this film? What are your thoughts on this creepy twist? Let us know in the comment section!
