A new Yu-Gi-Oh! game has been announced!

And it's gonna be available just on one platform

If you thought weekends did not have interesting news, think again! At least, if you are a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, because Konami has just announced that a new video game in the series is already in development.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! Let’s Go! Go Rush! is the (very large) name of this new installment based on the beloved anime franchise that will be released later this year.

Where and when can we play it?

In addition to sharing the first official image of the game, the company revealed that it will be exclusively available on Nintendo Switch when it is released this winter in Japan.

Its launch outside Asia has not been confirmed, but given the popularity that the franchise still enjoys here in the U.S. it is something that seems quite logical. Just for your consideration, the most recent games in the series have taken no more than 4 months to be released outside of Japan.

Unfortunately, these are the only details we have for now. Other more specific information, such as the plot or the game mechanics, has been left for a future occasion. Of course, we will stay tuned to bring you all the news as soon as Konami shares.

If you are a staunch fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, we remind you that there are currently three other games based on the manga created by Kazuki Takahashi, who recently passed away, that you already can play on the hybrid console: Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution, Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, the latter released earlier this year.
