Playwing LTD, the studio behind the development of Century: Age of Ashes, a free-to-play multiplayer focused on dragon battles, announced that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game are not arriving on July 19 as originally planned.
''Pushing back a release is never pleasant, even more so when we know there is a huge number of players who are wanting to play on PlayStation platforms, and this will most likely be a turning point in the life of Century: Age of Ashes'' the developer said.
“Going gold right off the back of the Xbox One release and the launch of the debut season, “A Shadow Over Skeld” is a tough challenge. Therefore, we are going to need a little more time to ensure we meet the quality standards to ship on these two platforms.'' Playwing concluded.
Today, we’ve decided to push back the release date of Century: Age of Ashes on PS4 and PS5 to Summer 2022.

Set in a dark fantasy world, Century: Age of Ashes is a third-person multiplayer arena in which the player can mount dragons and fight with them. Choose between three classes before each game, with their unique design, abilities, and customization: Marauder, Windguard and Phantom.
The Marauder is a skilled hunter that can mark its prey. The Windguard is a supporting class that can shield its allies and the Phantom is a stealthy assassin that can cloak itself. Each class is bound to a specific kind of dragon.
Century: Age of Ashes is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, Epic).
