MultiVersus: Space Jam's LeBron James, Rick and Morty to join the fighting game

MultiVersus is the game that everyone has been talking about recently, as it is a free-to-play platform fighting game with characters from Warner Bros and DC Comics. It is currently in beta early access, and many gamers have been getting the chance to try the game through registration or via Twitch Drops by watching streams of people playing it.

We recently commented in a note how fans were asking if more characters would come to the game and from other franchises, including anime, to which one of the developers had answered yes, that they were working hard to make it a reality.

Despite being in the game's beta phase, we already have good news: at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Warner Bros. confirmed who will be the first additional character for MultiVersus. As many rumors and data miners indicated, LeBron James, the famous basketball player who starred in the Space Jam sequel, will be the first post-launch character for MultiVersus.

And that's not all; it was also confirmed the arrival of Rick and Morty, protagonists of the comedy series Rick & Morty, will appear in MultiVersus. It is worth mentioning that they will arrive as separate characters, so you will be able to play as both Rick and Morty.

Also, the team responsible for the game, along with the news of the arrival of the new characters, released a video showing the skills of LeBron James. It is worth mentioning that his version of Space Jam inspires the character.
