MultiVersus: Taz receives nerf after player complaints

Update adds LeBron James as a playable character in the Beta

It's hard to find a balance between characters in platform-fighting games. This time, one character in particular in the new game MultiVersus which is in its open beta phase, has been causing many problems and complaints among the fighting community players.

What happens is that the character of Taz, the Tasmanian Devil is very powerful, especially a whirlpool attack that can hardly be countered. In comparison, it is similar to the famous whirlpool attack of Meta Knight character from Nintendo for the Super Smash Bros. game that even the character in certain places does not allow it at a competitive level for the same problem.

This problem has reached many complaints in the community; social media and specialized forums are full of memes that criticize said character and the people who use him in online games.

Not everything is teasing and memes; the same community asks for various character abilities adjustments. Everything indicates that Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games listened to their players because the next game update will nerf Taz. We know even more character adjustments are in the works.

The update will make other significant changes, adding LeBron James as a playable character in the Beta and rotating other fighters that the community has been able to test in the past.

One of the changes that the update will make to Taz's character is that there will be a cooldown to the character's ability so that the tornado cannot be used continuously and spam with the same attack.

The devs say it will remain one of Taz's most powerful moves, but this change will force players to think harder when using it. Other adjustments will be made later to balance the character further.

In the case of the character LeBron James who will be a playable character in the Beta, we will show you the most recent video released by those responsible for the game so that you can learn more about the character's attacks.

What do you think about this new update? Will you give it a try?
