The Japanese animation industry is about to get its next story from Keanu Reeves himself, and that's because, during the Comic-Con that took place a few days ago in San Diego, they revealed that the BRZRKR comic book is getting an anime adaptation produced by the animation studio Production I.G (Guilty Crown, Psycho-Pass, Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell),

Among the details of this project, they only confirmed that BRSRKR will have two seasons based on the comic book created by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt and illustrated by Ron Garney and Bill Crabtree. The written work has a total of 12 collected volumes to date.

The story follows "B," an immortal warrior who has been spiraling his way into violence for over 80,000 years. After so long on Earth, B has finally found a way to regain his sanity by performing missions for the U.S. government that are too violent and dangerous for anyone else.

The Netflix anime series will serve as a spin-off to the original comic while expanding its universe by exploring different elements that compose the main story.

Since"B" is the animated representation of the Canadian actor, Keanu will lend his voice to the protagonist in the English version.

We are facing a new and intriguing alternate line in Keanu Reeves' career in the entertainment industry. After all, the SDCC was also the stage to present the first trailer and promotional image of John Wick 4.
