Embark Studios has earned the right to shine the spotlight on its next project among the studios that have emerged in recent years. The ambitious free-to-play multiplayer cooperative title the team is working on is ARC Raiders.
The promising sci-fi co-op shooter, first revealed at last year's The Game Awards, is the first game from a new studio led by former Electronic Arts executive Patrick Söderlund.
In a statement published on Twitter earlier today, they said: "we have decided to delay Arc Raiders until 2023. Arc Raiders is an ambitious game, and we will use this additional time to expand the experience and allow it to reach its full potential."
This project, which has a quality level that aspires to be very high and which, presumably, was supposed to appear on our screens in 2022, will arrive next year if the plans keep on track.

As is customary in these situations, Embark Studios intends to polish the title even further and anticipates that it will be possible to test before its release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
In ARC Raiders, we will take on the role of the titular group, tasked with defending their planet from enemies from beyond space. As a squad, we'll have to deal with third-person shooter mechanics while using physics to our advantage.
