If you are into the Legend of Mana franchise, you probably know that an anime series inspired by the game is set to launch this year. Luckily, the upcoming TV show Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal has an official release date. Just recently, Square Enix and Warner Bros. Japan announced the premiere date. The anime will air on October 7.
In Japan, the anime will air during MBS and TBS’ “Super Animeism” programming block. And starting today, a new commercial for Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal will begin airing during the block. Hopefully, the new TV show will also arrive in the states this year.
Here are some details we know about the Legend of Mana anime so far (thanks, Gematsu!):
Story
Shiloh, a young boy who lives near the town of Domina, begins to hear a mysterious voice in his dreams.
The voice told him he had a mission…
One day, Shiloh meets two people known as “Jumi.” The Shumi are a race of people targeted—and many killed—for the jewel buried in their chests. Recently, mysterious jewel thieves have been attacking Jumi all over the world. And so Shiloh sets out on an adventure concerning the jewels of the Jumi!
