For those of you in the Twitch communities, you know that a wide variety of streamers have held all kinds of jobs, including people who have previously created adult content.
Recently, Epic Games has been involved in a controversy because it banned a former adult film actress from participating in a Fortnite tournament.
We are talking about Chechik, a content creator who started her new career in August 2019 and has more than 700,000 followers on the platform.
It all started because Chechik wanted to participate in the popular Twitch Rivals event. In case you don't know, this is a competitive event where various streamers, content creators, and professional gamers participate in putting on an entertaining show for everyone.
In that event, the Fortnite game was the main one, and although Twitch had no problem with the participation of this streamer, according to Chechik, Epic Games did have a problem.
“I think last night [Epic Games] decided not to admit me because of my work in adult film. So I was kicked out of the tournament because of my past and adult work. Epic Games doesn't support my past, but that's fine. I'm used to this, so it's fine," she explained.

EPIC GAMES EXPLAINS THE SITUATION
After all the controversy and statements from the streamer, Epic Games made a statement explaining the situation.
“We are very sorry that this has happened. The request to @TwitchRivals to work with you was to remove the adult references from the background of your stream due to our game's rating. We have no problem with you attending events or streaming Fortnite," Epic Games explained.
Remember that Fortnite is classified as a game suitable for teenagers; Epic Games surely wants to prevent an official tournament from having adult film material.
