Can you imagine a fusion video game between Pokémon and Paper Mario? It would be a super cute and fun game, don't you think? Fortunately, it exists; it is a new indie proposal that achieved its funding goal on Kickstarter and secured its launch.
The game is called Paper Animal RPG and is being developed by Cuddling Raccoons Studio, who are looking to create a new alternative for all RPG fans and titles with roguelike elements.
As we mentioned, the title is still in development, but it will be completed soon, so the studio has released a new trailer showing what the game will look like:
The game has a pixelated graphic style and contains elements based on well-known sagas, for which it becomes a quite complete and striking fusion.
What will the story be about? The game will take you to a small town inhabited by many animals, ruled by a kind and loved king. However, one day he disappears, causing chaos in the area, so you must put yourself in the shoes of some adventurers to find the monarch.
Paper Animal RPG is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at a date yet to be confirmed.
