Also, new weapons, vehicles, game modes… you name it

The latest PUBG Mobile update should be available by 15 September, which means tomorrow and is accompanied by a lot of stuff including a new map, an updated fan-favourite map, a new game mode, cosmetics, and more.

The 2.2 update will size 681 MB for Android devices and 1.91 GB for iOS, so keep this in mind before you download it. Now, you must be wondering, what is coming exactly in this update, well, take a sit, here is everything you will see:

To begin with, players will have access to a brand new map called Nusa, a tourist island set in the tropics, you should know that this new location is a 1×1 km map for fast-paced matches which is filled with supplies for players to collect. Actually thanks to its 1x1 km size, a new mechanic called Super Recall will be added, with it if you are defeated within the first 4 minutes of the match but still have surviving teammates, you will be able to respawn once and quickly jump back into the action with a random weapon.

More mechanics, more cosmetics, more everything

That is not all, two new mechanics will be added, the first one; many ziplines have been built at specific locations on Nusa. Just approach a zipline to use it and move around quickly. The second one is the brand new elevators installed in every hotel in Telepak Town.

Also, these mechanics are accompanied by a new weather system and bicycle sheds, as well as structural updates to numerous regions, providing an even better combat experience.

On the other hand, two new weapons will be part of your arsenal; the Tactical Crossbow and the NS2000 Shotgun; also the Quad a brand new 2-seater vehicle is also making its debut.

Wait… it isn’t over

Besides the new map and all the new stuff, we are getting an updated Erangel map. The fan-favourite field has updated structures in order to have smoother combat and hunting supplies. Two new ports have also been introduced, one southwest of the Farm and the other south of the Sosnovka Military Base. There'll also be new targeted supply crates that'll contain either medicine, tokens or military supplies.

Last but not least, the new game-mode Gear Front a fast pace mode that encourages aggressive play styles, it will be available in Erangel, Livik and Nusa maps.
