The whole GTA VI leaked footage fiasco opened the door for a crazy amount of theories, rumours and situations that we didn’t think will witness before.
If you haven't been keeping up with the current situation, don't worry, here goes a little resume:
First, a hacker leaked up to 90 clips of unseen footage of GTA VI where everyone could see mechanics, character models and physics of a possible alfa version of the game. Take-Two confirmed that the leak was real and then after a couple of days a 17 old teenager was arrested in the UK… all in a week.
Now, the rumours about what could possibly be next for the Rockstar’s main franchise are flooding the internet and while we recommend taking all of the “information” that may come out with a grain of salt we will share it with you in case… you know… they luckily get it right.
From the current pile of rumors...
According to a leaker who anticipated the postponement of Hogwarts Legacy and Forspoken, GTA VI will release in 2025. Through a tweet, the user @PereaAdrien confirmed that the possible launch window for the game is 3 years away.
Most of the responses seem to think that in the scenario where he is right, this date may be only for consoles and PC version will arrive later like in the GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 case. On the other hand, other users started theorizing that the official announcement trailer could possibly come out next year, while others think he is lying.
At this point, we shouldn't be believing in rumours but hey, here we are. As always we advise you to don’t trust blindly them, just keep them on the radar, just in case.
