Fan creates stunning realistic game with Chris Pratt as Mario Bros

Little is known about the Mario Bros movie yet. However, fans are increasingly eager to learn all the details and express their excitement for this movie in many different ways.

A Nintendo fan has decided to make a realistic Super Mario Bros remake and also a movie-style trailer. The project shows Chris Pratt dressed as Mario.

The fan decided to upload his trailer to the YouTube account Re-Imagined Games. The creator of this project started creating it two months ago, and to make it; he had to learn Unreal Engine 5 without any previous experience in game development.

Re-Imagined Games uploaded a cinematic trailer for the remake and some gameplay footage.

Here you can see it:

As you can see, the result is impressive. And also, to think that he did this without any previous experience in game development makes it even more fascinating. The creator of the project wrote this in the description of his video:

“I am a life long Nintendo fan, and I'm very excited for the Super Mario animated movie from Illumination and Nintendo! So, I decided to make some sort of fan project while we're all waiting for a trailer. But, then I started to wonder what it would look like if Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, and Keegan-Michael Key, were actually these characters in a realistic mushroom Kingdom. That seemed like an incredibly fun idea, and that's why I'm attempting to make this game. With zero game development experience, I'm learning unreal engine from scratch and picking up any other skills that I can along the way, in an effort to make this a legitimately great action game!”.
