Genshin Impact continues to grind out astounding numbers two years after its launch; the game is available on PC, mobile platforms, and PlayStation consoles but not on Xbox, a situation that seems to bother Microsoft little.
According to Reuters, Microsoft is reportedly scouting among Chinese teams to find a production similar to Genshin Impact that can somehow go against the game and somehow fill a "hole" in the Xbox lineup due precisely to the absence of Genshin Impact on this platform.
What will Microsoft do about this?
Moreover, you will recall how initially, Genshin Impact was also announced for Nintendo Switch and Xbox; later, this version was canceled while the Switch edition theoretically is still in development but, in practice, has not yet been released, and we know absolutely nothing about its fate.
However, Xbox is still without Genshin Impact, and Microsoft would like to make up for it by publishing a "Genshin Impact Like" on Xbox. The company has reportedly already traveled to China to talk to various local studios to strike publishing deals on Xbox, not necessarily exclusively, and get ahead of competitors' moves.

According to Reuters, Microsoft "regrets" missing out on Genshin and briefly chatted with miHoYo while the title was being created, but talks fell through. The game's next update will come soon!
