Back in June, publisher Electronic Arts and developer BioWare revealed the official name for their next Dragon Age game; Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and promised to release more details at the end of 2022, well, seems like they were true to their word.
In their latest blog post, they shared that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has completed its alpha production stage a huge step forward in the development of the game.
Why is this relevant? Well, with the alpha phase finished, they can play the entire game, from the opening scenes of the first mission to the very end. Of course, this doesn’t mean that they will launch the game right away; as now the next step is working on the visual fidelity and iterating on gameplay features.

So, 2023?
The statement didn’t specify a release date. Like we were saying there is a lot of work left and we maybe we will see the final product at the end of next year. However, they will keep posting development updates in order to maintain the community interested.
On the other hand, the team teased that this is not the only project happening at BioWare.
“We have a team hard at work envisioning what the future holds for a new single-player Mass Effect game. And we look forward to celebrating our community on N7 Day next month. The SWTOR team also continues to work on their next update, so keep an eye on SWTOR.com and their social media accounts for any and all details on the coming game update.”
