In this case, we have the excellent news that Blizzard has already announced a new character that will join the game in the role of the tank and also announced the date for Season 2. The announcement was revealed during the grand finals of the Overwatch League.
WHO IS THE NEW CHARACTER?
The new hero is Ramattra; he is related to Zenyatta, who has an interesting story full of adversity. Ramattra emerged as a war machine, but his ideals were the opposite. So he used his abilities and weapons to protect the community members from him with one goal: to promote peace.
For a time, he was a companion of Zenyatta, for which he was in the Shambali Monastery. Blizzard describes the character's story as complex, filled with "adversity, trauma, and a magnified perspective on the harsh reality of humanity."
“Harmony was replaced by dissonance, and Ramattra began to approach his convictions more pragmatically, justifying any means necessary to defend his fellow omnics. As the leader of the Null Sector, Ramattra receives great support from his people and wishes to impose his philosophy on our world”, according to his description.
