At present, among the known information on Tekken 8, there are no details on what might be the launch date of the long-awaited new instalment of the fighting game series. However, work appears well underway, with Bandai Namco looking forward to making the game available within the next twelve months.

When will the game come out?

Indeed, in presenting the company's latest financial results to its shareholders, the management briefly discussed goals related to the coming video game year. In the summary document of the meeting, the following can be read: "Tekken 8 is also in development, with the goal of a release that can take place during 2023 or later."

The statement leaves the door open for some flexibility about the debut of the fighting game, but, indeed, it is not ruled out that Tekken 8 could land on the market as early as next year. Later this fall, fans got their first glimpse of the title in action, thanks to a rich Tekken 8 trailer at the last PlayStation State of Play of the year.

In case you missed it: Soccer Story is coming soon to consoles and PC.

Developed in Unreal Engine 5, the long-awaited Tekken 8 will find its way onto PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. We just have to wait for news from Bandai Namco to find out more.
