On November 30, Valve made a big announcement about one of its latest products, the Steam Deck. Via Twitter, they mentioned that in celebration of The Game Awards, they're giving away one 512GB Steck Deck for every minute that passes from The Game Awards broadcast on December 8.

From the time of the announcement to today, December 1, many users have reported what appears to be a bug on the website. On the page, you can read that the eligible countries for this giveaway are Canada, US, UK, and Europe.

But many users who currently reside within these countries get a message which states that their region is not available. The following a post via Twitter given by user StrawDesertHD shares what many people are experiencing when trying to register.

Others claim to have issues just as the user ducc states. Making a purchase in Steam within the last year is another eligibility condition for the giveaway that some people actually have done, but the webpage seems to not recognize that as well.

So far, Valve has made an update trying to solve this problem, but the same thing is still happening. At the moment we can wait for the next few days if the website is completely fixed and allows the registration process to continue.
