After bringing us up to date on the development of Bleak Faith Forsaken with a new video, the Archangel team takes advantage of the media quiet before the Game Awards 2022 to pack another gameplay trailer amid deformed monsters, gigantic creatures, and settings that echo FromSoftware's souls-like.
What we know so far
The footage offered to us by the developers of this ambitious dark fantasy action adventure plunges us into the atmosphere of the Omnistructure, the enormous alien architectural complex built by an extinct civilization: our task will be to reach the centre of the Omnistructure together with a warrior eager to restore peace to his kingdom.
If Bleak Faith's scenarios harken back to the settings admired in such colossals as Bloodborne, Elden Ring and Dark Souls, the combat system seems to draw heavily from works such as Devil May Cry, with a hint of Shadow of the Colossus in the more frantic stages of boss fights in open-world areas.
