Kaiju Wars made its debut on PC on April 28, 2022. Then it was announced to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on November 10.
And Nintendo doesn't want to be out of the mission of defending the city from devastating kaiju monsters. On Tuesday, December 20, Kaiju Wars became available on Nintendo Switch as well!
Just as the game developers Foolish Mortals Games explain, you have to "play out a Kaiju movie as the (hopelessly) outclassed military in this stylish 2D turn-based strategy game." You also must "construct buildings and defend your city with cannon-fodder tanks, jets, and more as the devastating kaiju grow in power with every attack."
There is a total of five unique kaiju that can become stronger by mutating, and something important to consider is that Kaiju can't be killed, but can only be slowed down and forced to fall back.

There are secrets to unveil in the 15+ hour story-based campaign, and the game has many different features that make this game so entertaining and unique.
If you are a Twitch streamer, your chat can become the in-game citizens! With the Twitch Integration your viewers can type commands into chat to have comments appear during certain in-game events. It also has the Local Versus Mode in which you can play as the kaiju or the humans.
You can also create your own battles by selecting your own city or scenario. "Simple and easy to use, scenarios can be crafted in minutes using the drag and drop map editor." And then you can share your creations online using the Steam Workshop integration.
