Xbox and Tango Gameworks surprised gamers with Hi-Fi RUSH, a title that is full of action, music, and interesting easter eggs. Some fans believe that Chai's adventure hides a clue about the future of a popular franchise that the companies have in their hands: The Evil Within.

Hi-Fi RUSH has several references to Shinji Mikami's horror saga, but there is one in particular that went unnoticed by many players and that seems to speak about the future of the franchise. A very observant fan noticed it and shared it with the community.

Tango Gameworks fans undoubtedly enjoyed the references to The Evil Within in Hi-Fi RUSH, as many fans have been waiting for a new installment of the horror saga for a long time. However, it is not a sure thing, as the studio wants to expand its horizons and work with new genres.

Because of this, a reference to the saga especially caught the attention of gamers. The easter egg is found in the final section of the game, just before facing the last boss. Chai and company go down an elevator and, for a split second, a blue screen is displayed.

On it is a rather peculiar message: "Sequel to popular survival horror franchise announced". Many believe this is another clear reference to The Evil Within and could hint at its future.

Some fans think that Tango hid this message to anticipate the arrival of The Evil Within 3, a highly anticipated project. However, the reality is that for now there is nothing confirmed. The reference could be a simple easter egg like the others or a hint that something is on the way.
