Since its premiere in mid-January, The Last of Us has become one of the most popular series of the moment; It has been a journey full of emotions. Fortunately, it seems that the actors who brought the main and secondary characters to life also enjoyed being involved in the project. Of course, Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie, suffered a small injury during filming.
BELLA RAMSEY, ACTRESS OF ELLIE, INJURED HER EYE DURING THE RECORDING OF HBO'S THE LAST OF US
Without a doubt, episode 5 of Season 1 of The Last of Us is one of the most exciting to date, thanks to its action scenes. Precisely, the British actress ended up with many bruises and a "black eye" during the recordings of some of those sequences.
During an interview for the IGN portal, Bella Ramsey stated that the action scenes were very intense and that filming was full of challenges. She explains that it was a "very stressful experience, but in a way that felt incredible." In fact, she admits that she ended up with a lot of bruises and that, on one occasion, she had an actual black eye due to a minor accident.
“At one point [an actor playing a Clicker] was tossing and dying. During one take, the poor guy punches me in the eye. I almost stopped the take, but I didn't”, confesses the 19-year-old actress.
Despite the blow she received while filming the scene and all the challenges she faced during filming, Bella Ramsey comments that she is very proud and that she had a good time while she was working on The Last of Us.
