Epic Games Store has updated its catalog of free titles this Thursday, March 23, and now we can claim Chess Ultra, a title that is described as "the most breathtaking chess game ever made." Many of us could have been expecting more free games along with this one, but this time it is a single-title giveaway again as we also have a free add-on for the free-to-play game World of Warships.
Chess Ultra is a seamless online multiplayer title that has VR compatibility and is perfect for those gamers who are fans of strategy, simulation, and chess. If you are not used to playing chess this might be a good title to start learning from.
You can play in the most common way using your PC and even use a controller if it makes you more comfortable, but it is also possible to have a much more immersive experience if you have one of the VR headsets like the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive and be able to see the stunning 4K visuals and Grandmaster-approved AI that it offers.
How can I get it?
- Click on this link to go to the Epic Games Store.
- Go to the free games section as shown in the first picture of this note and go to each game's store page.
- Click the "Get" button on the right side of the screen.
- You will see a screen with the purchase information, in this case at no cost.
- Click on "Checkout."

You can also get a World of Warships Starter Pack that will give you a ship and a few extras for an even more entertaining experience when playing the title and will be even more useful for those who haven't played this free game yet.
