Super Mario Bros. The movie is already around the corner, so on social networks, it is discussed what other important games should be adapted to the big screen with an animated film. The Game Awards account on Twitter took a survey to find out, and the players did not hesitate to participate.

To the surprise of a few, other Nintendo franchises were some of the community's favorites. Iconic sagas in the hands of Activision, FromSoftware, and other studios were also mentioned. The indies were present, so some players dreamed of adaptations of popular independent titles.

WHAT MOVIES DO PLAYERS DREAM OF?

The survey received hundreds of responses, and thanks to this, we know that gamers are dying to see an animated movie based on The Legend of Zelda and other Nintendo franchises. The most mentioned are Star Fox, Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Splatoon.

Some players dream of movies inspired by recent releases, like an ELDEN RING tape. Other famous sagas were Crash Bandicoot, Kingdom Hearts Rayman, and Jak & Daxter.

Some players believe that companies should not bet on movies, as they think the series format is better for adapting some titles. The Last of Us series was mentioned as proof of this.

Lastly, some fans think that a Fortnite or Minecraft movie would be a great idea due to the enormous popularity of both franchises. Sagas such as Vanquish, Halo, Monkey Island, Mass Effect, and A Hat in Time were mentioned for their action or narrative.

Without a doubt, the Nintendo sagas were the most mentioned, and some players dream of an adaptation of Super Smash Bros. because they think it would be the definitive Nintendo film.
