The person who leaked the art book of the sequel is in serious trouble

In mid-February, someone leaked The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art book, leading to spoilers of the sequel circulating online months before the official release date of May 12.

As expected, Nintendo is not pleased with this and has started the search for JustJulienOffic, the individual who leaked the material on forums. The company will pursue this case to the fullest extent, so it issued an order for Discord to reveal the information of the individual so that they can sue them.

NINTENDO TURNS TO DISCORD TO FIND THE LEAKER

According to the details, Nintendo filed a copyright subpoena in a California court, seeking to compel Discord to reveal the information of JustJulienOffic, whose username on the platform is Julien#2743.

Nintendo wants information such as their name, address, email addresses, and phone numbers. This is a preliminary step in filing a lawsuit against the individual for leaking The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art book.

At the time of writing, it is unclear what will happen in this case. The first possibility is that Discord will cooperate with the investigation, and the culprit will receive a visit from Nintendo's legal team.

On the other hand, there is a possibility that Nintendo will seek another alternative to find JustJulienOffic if the subpoena does not yield results. What is certain is that the leaker is in trouble and could face the full legal force of Nintendo.
