Arkane to release a 60 fps mode for consoles in a later update

Arkane knows that gamers have doubts about the performance Redfall will have on Xbox X|S Series. So this morning it revealed that the title will feature 2 mode settings; however, many gamers are upset, as only one of them will be available during the release and will offer 30 fps.

The company confirmed that the title will have a Quality Mode in its debut, which will offer 4k and 30 fps on Xbox X Series. On the other hand, Xbox Series S owners will be able to enjoy the title at 1440p and 30fps.

Arkane will add a Performance Mode that will offer 60 fps. However, it will arrive later in an update that still has no date. As we told you, this detail annoyed the Xbox community on consoles.

Gamers are unhappy with Redfall and its performance on consoles

Many players waiting for the title were disappointed to learn that it will only offer 30 fps on both X and S Series. Some console users believe that this is unacceptable and that it is another mistake on Arkane's part.

Several think that the game should be running at 60 fps from launch, since after all it is an exclusive release for the Xbox ecosystem. Because of this, some users stated that they will not play it during its release and will wait for the patch that will add Performance Mode.

Other players were disappointed in the new generation and even asked Arkane to delay the release as long as it arrives with the mode at 60 fps from the beginning. Finally, there are also fans who stated that they will enjoy it better on PC because of this news.

"I couldn't believe what I was reading at first, I thought it was someone pretending to be the official Redfall account. Redfall's become an Xbox console exclusive, was delayed for almost a year, and yet somehow they're still not releasing it with 60 fps. What are they doing?,"said an annoyed player.
