Crash Bandicoot got into the ring to hit a YouTuber at Creator Clash 2

The Activision mascot was present at the event in a peculiar way

Not only is Activision currently in the process of being acquired by Microsoft but they are also working on many games, one of which is Crash Team Rumble. To promote this game, they sent Crash Bandicoot to an important boxing event to fight a YouTuber.

Creator Clash 2 is an annual boxing event that pits content creators against each other in a charity boxing match, similar to what we see at Fight Night. This event is focused on Anglo-Saxon personalities and has charitable purposes. During the night, Crash Bandicoot appeared in the form of a costume to make his way to the ring causing destruction. Once there, he faced off against YouTuber Cherdleys, whom he defeated after landing several hits, including a kick. According to Comic Book, the person inside the Crash Bandicoot costume was former WWE star PJ Black.

Why did Crash Bandicoot appear at this event? While it may seem surprising to see the marsupial at a boxing event, it's not so surprising when you consider that Activision was one of the event's sponsors, specifically to promote Crash Team Rumble, which is why the game's logos were displayed in the ring. Unfortunately, Activision missed the opportunity to show a new trailer for Crash Team Rumble, so we'll have to wait to learn more about the highly anticipated multiplayer mode.

Other English-speaking content creators and personalities fought in the event as well, such as Alanah Pearce, a writer for Sony SIE Santa Monica Studio, and Marisha Ray, a voice actress for Metal Gear, Persona, and Final Fantasy. In fact, Laura Bailey and Liam O'Brien, both voice actors and colleagues of Critical Role, were present to support her.

What did you think of Crash Bandicoot's participation in Creator Clash 2? Let us know in the comments.
