While the announcement of the next Naruto game did not please many fans of the franchise due to the lack of novelties, die-hard fans won't want to miss it as it will include an original story and a completely new character in the IP universe.
This week brought exciting news for Naruto fans as the results of the vote to determine the most popular character in the series were announced, along with news of a new short manga by the creator of the series, Masashi Kishimoto. Additionally, new details were revealed for the game Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections.
As previously mentioned, this new installment of Naruto Shippuden will include a never-seen-before story arc that has not been present in the anime, manga or video games. It has just been confirmed that Boruto will be the protagonist. Additionally, a completely new character has been introduced - a Susanoo that has never appeared in the Naruto or Boruto universe before. In fact, judging from the images, this Susanoo has a slightly different appearance from the ones that we know.
There are not many details about this Susanoo beyond its red color and being fully formed. Some users speculate that it might be Sarada's Susanoo. Other additions to the game include Naruto's newest form, Baryon Mode, which he can access using his "Secret Technique" or "Awakening," and Sasuke's Shadow Hokage form, which enables him to use the Devastation Planetary Secret Technique and Kirin.
