There is no doubt that Resident Evil 4 Remake is a resounding success, thanks to Capcom's great job of revitalizing one of the iconic games in the series. In fact, it's so good that even the creator of the original game played it and loved it.

We're talking about Shinji Mikami, one of the main creatives who helped shape the franchise decades ago and was involved in the development of the original Resident Evil 4 as a writer and director. When rumors of the supposed remake began to circulate, Mikami, regardless of the veracity of the rumors, expressed his support for Capcom for the project.

"As long as it's a good game, I have no problem with it," said the developer.

WHAT DID THE CREATOR OF THE ORIGINAL GAME THINK OF RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE?

SPOILER ALERT: Before you continue reading, you should know that, although we won't discuss the plot of the original game or the remake, Shinji Mikami shared an image of the final scene of the title. The image isn't very revealing, but if you've never played it, you may not want to see anything related to the end of the game. If that's the case, we invite you to stop reading or ignore the image (continue reading without reaching Mikami's tweet).

Well, the rumors turned out to be true, and the game was a great modern redemption of the original game. But Mikami's verdict was still unknown, and he, of course, was not going to miss the opportunity to try it.

The creative has just finished it and not only shared his achievement on Twitter through an image showing a memorable moment from the end of Leon S. Kennedy and Ashley Graham's adventure but also mentioned that he enjoyed it "very much."

That being said, it's clear that in the end, the game met all the standards and already has the seal of approval from the most important creative behind the original project.

Do you think the same as Shinji Mikami? Tell us in the comments.
