Blizzard surprised fans with an announcement of an open test for all platforms

Blizzard promised a surprise announcement in a recent Diablo IV stream, and the company delivered good news to players: there will be another Beta for the game, so fans can play it before its release and earn attractive rewards for their adventure.

While the development of the game is complete, Blizzard wants to test their servers once again. The test will run from May 12th to 14th and will be available for all PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC users. The Beta allows players to play as the Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, or Sorceress up to level 20, in both the Prologue and Act I. Cross-play and cross-progression will be available, and local co-op mode can be enjoyed on consoles.

Participants will face the dangerous enemy Ashava, and Blizzard will offer rewards such as the mount trophy "Ashava's Roar" for defeating it. Players who achieved rewards in previous tests do not have to unlock them again, as they will receive them once the game launches. Diablo IV will officially be released on June 6th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Below are the rewards and requirements to obtain them:

  • "First Step" Title: obtained by reaching Kyovashad with a character
  • "Early Traveler" Title: obtained by reaching level 20 with a character
  • Beta Wolf Backpack: obtained by reaching level 20 with a character
  • Ashava's Roar mount trophy: obtained by defeating Ashava with a level 20 character

Diablo IV will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC starting from June 6th.
