Seagate reduced the price of its 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB cards

There is good news for Xbox X Series X|S users, as they will now have to spend less to expand the storage space of their consoles. Through its social networks, Xbox announced that Seagate expansion cards received a permanent price reduction.

Thanks to this, users will have to invest less of their money to get a 512GB, 1TB or 2TB card, as all models dropped in price. This is great news, as this important accessory is not cheap at all and there are still few options on the market.

What are the new prices for Xbox X Series X|S expansion cards?

Originally, the 512 GB card was offered for $139.99, a figure considered high by many for the additional storage it offers. The good news is that this expansion card will now be offered for only $89.99.

The 1TB card was previously offered for $219.99 USD, but will now cost $149.99. Finally, the 2TB card will be sold for $279.99 USD instead of its original high cost of $399.99.

As we told you, the price reduction will be permanent and the new figures correspond to the recommended retail prices. While the announcement was aimed at US gamers, the cost update is expected to apply to all regions.

It is worth remembering that details of the WD_Black cards recently emerged, so soon there will also be a greater variety of alternatives to increase console storage.
