Gamers have been asking for years for a port of Bloodborne for PlayStation 5 and PC; however, the popular game still remains a PlayStation 4 exclusive. We've had many rumors about its possible return and reports are back with a PlayStation Showcase seemingly imminent.

A port of Bloodborne is on the way? This is what David Jaffe said

Jaffe talked about his expectations for the upcoming PlayStation Showcase which, according to rumors, shouldn't be that far away. He knows fans are dying for more on Bloodborne, so he revealed what he's heard about its possible return.

The creative believes that a sequel is unlikely, so he ruled it out completely. However, he believes it's only a matter of time before the original game returns in some form. He's not sure if it will be a remaster or a PC version, but emphasized that he knows something is in development.

"I loved that game, man. I don't know if it's a remaster, I don't know if it's just a PC version, but we know it's in development. But when will they show it (...) I don't think Bloodborne 2 is in development," Jaffe stated during a stream.

Due to his statements, fans are now hopeful and believe that the project as such could be part of the next PlayStation Showcase, but this is pure speculation.

Various sources have claimed that a PS5 and PC version is possible; however, PlayStation has simply given no hints that the project is actually in active development. So, it's best not to get your hopes up and take this as just another rumor. You can listen to Jaffe's expectations about the event starting at the 55:40 mark of the video below:
