Sony revealed this week that 23 highly attractive games will be coming to PlayStation Plus during May. The issue is that the company made another mistake and one of the confirmed titles will not actually be joining its subscription service.
This isn't the first time something similar has happened, as at the beginning of the year they made a similar error when announcing the arrival of Sayonara Wild Hearts to PlayStation Plus. As you can imagine, it was all due to confusion and the indie title didn't actually join the service. Now, this story has just repeated with another game.
BY MISTAKE, SONY ANNOUNCED THIS GAME FOR PS PLUS IN MAY
The May game list includes highly attractive titles for Extra and Deluxe subscribers. However, due to an oversight by Sony, fans will miss out on one of them. For some reason, the company removed Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town from the list of new releases.
What's strange is that they didn't give any explanation for this move and nobody is clear on what happened. Because of this, players will receive 22 games in May instead of 23. While this isn't cause for alarm, it's noteworthy that this is the second time it's happened.
Sony only edited their blog post to remove Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, but didn't put up any notices or updates about it.
Despite this, May looks to be an excellent month for subscribers, who will get to enjoy Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Humanity, several Tomb Raider titles, Bethesda blockbusters, and more new releases.
