Hideo Kojima thrilled fans with P.T. reference, but it was a prank

It seems that the developer played a little joke on his followers on social networks

Even though it's been years since its cancellation, P.T. still continues to excite gamers. Proof of this is that Hideo Kojima made a curious reference to the Silent Hills demo and fans went crazy on social networks.

Unfortunately, many gamers were totally disappointed, as Kojima's publication was not what they expected. It's unclear why the creative decided to talk about P.T. out of nowhere, but apparently it was all a prank on his fans.

Kojima thrills and then trolls P.T. fans

Out of nowhere, Kojima uploaded to his Twitter account a message with 2 images. In one of them only the letters "PT" appear, so many of his followers got excited. For a moment they thought that the creative was making a reference to P.T. and that, somehow, the project would return.

However, the disappointment came when gamers saw the other image, which shows a Twitter account called Poor Things, whose logo is that "PT" that drove Kojima fans crazy. Gamers were disappointed to see that it was just a troll by the Japanese developer.

Despite this, some people believe that Kojima is hinting at something related to the cancelled project, as it makes no sense to talk about P.T. when its anniversary is nowhere near. On the other hand, there are also gamers who believe that Kojima simply shared the images since they struck him as curious and reminded him of his game.

"Stop playing with our feelings, please", "It's happening", "It still hurts a lot", "Kojima teasing or advertising?" and "Tell me it's not a troll, Kojima" are some of the comments that can be read on social networks. Below you can see the post and some responses from the community:
