Without a doubt, 2022 gave us many high-quality games. One that generated a lot of noise and buzz during the last summer was Stray, a charming independent title that became an internet sensation. Now, almost a year after its original release, it seems to be preparing for its debut on more platforms.

We must remember that the project by Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio debuted for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC in the middle of last year. For a long time, players have questioned the developers about the possibility of seeing a release for Microsoft platforms.

It seems that there will be good news soon for fans who are hoping for Stray to come to the Xbox ecosystem.

STRAY COULD BE RELEASED FOR XBOX ONE AND XBOX SERIES X|S, ACCORDING TO A NEW CLUE

This week, users on Twitter discovered that the popular independent video game, starring a stray cat, obtained an age rating for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S from the ESRB, the American video game rating system.

Undoubtedly, it is relatively common for ESRB updates to reveal new releases and ports. Considering that the next season of gaming events is just around the corner, it seems likely that the hypothetical announcement will take place at one of the showcases.

That being said, it is important to note that, at the time of writing these lines, neither Annapurna Interactive nor BlueTwelve Studio have confirmed that Stray will come to Microsoft platforms. We recommend taking this information with a grain of salt and waiting for an official announcement.

But tell us, would you like this game to come to Xbox? Let us hear your thoughts in the comments.

Stray is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Click here to read more news related to it.
