Mythical beast from Breath of the Wild returns and offers players a fantastic reward

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been available for a few days, but it still has many secrets hidden, such as the return of a beautiful tribute to one of Nintendo's most illustrious members.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released in 2017 and much of its development took place when the legendary Satoru Iwata was president of the Japanese company. Sadly, the gamer, developer, and executive passed away in 2015.

SPOILER: We will talk about an element of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which, while not part of the plot, some players may prefer to discover on their own. If that's your case, we invite you to stop reading.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM PAYS TRIBUTE TO IWATA

Despite being the president of Nintendo, Iwata was consulted by the development team, so as a tribute, he appeared in the game in 2 ways, one of them through a mythical beast called Satori.

Well, the development team did not miss the opportunity to bring back the tribute to Iwata once again through this character, which can be found again on Satori Mountain.

However, this time Satori appears differently and even offers a reward to dedicated players.

To make it appear, players must make offerings of fruit under the trees on the mountain, and it will appear alongside other legendary creatures. Additionally, Satori will mark certain points on the map, where Blupees, Bubbulfrogs, and other secrets will appear, as reported by IGN.

The most striking thing is that these creatures will drop resources necessary for Link to obtain a very special set of armor inspired by Satori, consisting of the Mystic Robe, Mystic Pants, and Mystic Headpiece.

If you want to know more about Satori and the set it offers, you can check out the video below (via BeardBear).

"When he passed away, there were times when we came up with an idea and we were excited to tell Iwata. Then we remembered that he was no longer here," director Hidemaro Fujibayashi said after the release of the first installment (via The New Yorker). "Miyamoto told me he felt the same... The sadness is deep. This becomes spiritual, but we had the feeling that he was watching our work. That became a source of motivation, an impulse to do better and be better."
