Redfall plummets on Steam: registers just over 200 active players

The number of users for the title has continuously dropped since its release

Redfall is one of the biggest disappointments of 2023. The initial hype for the game vanished overnight and this is reflected in its number of players on Steam. Arkane Austin's title seems to be in serious trouble, as it has lost a very important part of its community in a matter of weeks.

The vampire shooter had an acceptable debut on Steam, as it registered a good peak of active players. However, the figure has decreased considerably and continuously over the days. To the point that Redfall currently registers just over 200 active players on the Valve platform.

REDFALL FIGURES PLUMMET ON STEAM

Although many players enjoyed Redfall thanks to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, a good number of Arkane fans gave it a chance on Steam. According to SteamDB, the game registered a maximum peak of 6124 active players.

As of writing this, the situation is radically different, as the game has just over 200 active players. To be exact, the shooter has 228 active users right now. On the other hand, its maximum peak of users in the last 24 hours is 376.

In some of its worst moments, Redfall has registered only 120 players on Steam. The overall opinion of players hasn't changed over the past few weeks, as the title mostly receives negative reviews on the platform.

This is undoubtedly bad news for Arkane, which committed to making a few improvements to the title. The case of the shooter somewhat resembles that of BABYLON'S FALL, whose numbers also plummeted and led to the closure of its servers.
