The video game industry is in such a good moment that giving away games has become a constant, and any excuse is good for publishers and studios to treat their followers. This time there is an interesting surprise because one of the best horror FPS games is celebrating, and the best part is that it can be yours without spending a single penny.

GET METRO: LAST LIGHT COMPLETE EDITION WITHOUT SPENDING A SINGLE PENNY

4A Games, developers of the Metro franchise, announced that starting today and until May 25th, Steam users can claim a free copy of Metro: Last Light Complete Edition or the definitive version that includes DLC and all content released after its launch. The reason? This installment is celebrating its 10th anniversary since its original release in May 2013 and the studio wants to celebrate with fans who have remained loyal to the IP throughout its 3 installments.

Metro: Last Light is the sequel to the successful Metro 2033, a video game franchise inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky's suspense, horror, action, and drama novel. If you don't know, the story takes place in the Moscow metro after a nuclear war disaster, and survivors have turned the underground transport lines into a new place to live, although danger lurks around every corner.

At the time, Metro: Last Light was praised for improving the original proposal by adding new mechanics and a weapons customization system. The success of this title kept the franchise alive and ensured the development of its third installment, Metro Exodus.

So, just go to Steam, log in with your account, and get your digital copy of Metro: Last Light Complete Edition. Remember that it is for a limited time and you only have until May 25th to claim it.
