Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and many are eager to learn more details. This has caused many rumors about the game to circulate, and Insomniac Games recently had to refute a rumor that claimed Marvel's Spider-Man 2 would be a co-op game.
At a convention held in September, Nadji Jeter, the voice actor who plays Miles Morales in Marvel's Spider-Man, was asked if this installment would have cooperative play. To this, the actor said, "I don't know if it's been announced or not, but I think so".
These statements were ignored for a while, but they recently began to circulate as if it were a confirmation that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 would have cooperative play. This rumor made so much noise that Insomniac Games, the game's developer, had to come out and explain the situation.
In a Twitter post, Insomniac Games revealed that Marvel's Spider-Man will not be a co-op game. This means that, like Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it will be a traditional single-player experience.
"No! It's an epic single-player adventure," Insomniac Games said on Twitter.
Nope! It is an epic single-player adventure!
