MachineGames studio is seeking personnel to work on a mysterious AAA title

The Wolfenstein franchise is one of the most important in the video game industry, as it was a pioneer in the first-person shooter genre. Undoubtedly, it got a second wind thanks to the release of 2014's The New Order and its 2017 sequel, although the 2019 spin-off fell short. Either way, it seems that it could soon return.

MachineGames was the studio responsible for the latest games in Bethesda's franchise. Currently, they are working on a licensed title based on Indiana Jones, so it is clear that many of their efforts are focused on that project. However, a new clue indicates that they already have another game in the pipeline.

WILL WOLFENSTEIN RETURN?

What happened is that ZeniMax updated its list of vacancies and indicated that MachineGames wants a senior animator to join the team. As usual, the job listing includes little information about the nature of the project. However, they are looking for candidates who have "a passion for video games, especially immersive first-person games." They must also be familiar with the studio's titles.

While it is clear that the vacancy is for working on a AAA game, it is unknown if a new Wolfenstein installment is on the way. At the end of the day, it could be a new IP or any other project.

We must remember that since 2021, there have been clues suggesting that the company is working on another title apart from Indiana Jones. However, it seems that the game based on the adventures of the treasure hunter is the priority at the moment.

But tell us, would you like to see another installment of the franchise? Let us know in the comments.
