The worst Switch exclusive will have a sequel and will arrive very soon

The announcement had been leaked, but the game was expected to be canceled

Nintendo Switch has given us great exclusives like Metroid Dread, Super Mario Odyssey, and more recently The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That said, the reality is that the console's catalog has not been infallible, and Nintendo has released some releases that have left something to be desired. Surprisingly, the worst of them will have a sequel.

Remember 1-2-Switch? Yes! We're talking about that launch game that was a glorified tech demo that aimed to demonstrate the capabilities of the Joy-Con and that many believe should have come free with the console, as happened with Wii Sports and the Wii. Well, it will have a sequel.

Its name is Everybody 1-2-Switch! and, like its predecessor, it will be a casual game full of mini-games for you to play with friends. The big novelty is that now there will be several mini-games that will take advantage of mobile devices so that you can have fun with a lot of friends, even if they don't have enough Joy-Con.

Everybody 1-2-Switch! will be released on June 30th in physical and digital format. You can pre-order it for $29.99 USD.
It is worth mentioning that the announcement of Everybody 1-2-Switch! was not only unexpected but also strange. We say this because Nintendo only revealed the game on Twitter and released the pre-order page. That said, at the time of writing this note, there is no trailer, and there are only two images.

We remind you that Everybody 1-2-Switch! had already been revealed by a report from Imran Khan. That said, it seemed that Nintendo was not convinced with the project and it was believed that it could be canceled. Is it possible that they were able to improve it or that's why it will be released at a reduced price? We'll see.

What do you think of this news? Do you think the 1-2-Switch sequel will be a success? Let us know in the comments.
