Surprisingly, Nintendo announced a new collection of Joy-Con that will arrive on store shelves very soon. The company revealed 4 new colors for Switch controllers, which will come in pastel shades.
Many players were excited about the announcement and are already preparing their wallets for the release. However, there are also fans who took advantage of the revelation to once again call out Nintendo for the infamous Joy-Con drift.
NEW JOY-CON FOR SWITCH ARE ON THE WAY
Nintendo revealed 4 new variants of the Switch controllers: Pastel Pink, Pastel Yellow, Pastel Purple, and Pastel Green. These new colors will be available this month, specifically on June 30th, and will be sold for $79.99 USD.
Many Switch users claimed to be happy with the announcement, as the pastel shades were very attractive to them. For this reason, they plan to acquire several of the new models as soon as they are available to combine them.

On the other hand, there were players who were not so excited. Although the new colors seemed attractive to them, they stated that they would not acquire these new Joy-Con for fear of drift. Some people even took the opportunity to ask for help to solve the drift on their current controllers.
Several fans were angry because they believe that Nintendo did not provide a real solution to all the players affected by the problem in the end.
"The fact that Nintendo not only got away with never having to repair its broken hardware but also continues to sell new versions to this day has to be the biggest heist in video game history," said one player.
