To kick off WWDC23, Apple announced the release of a new model of Macbook Air. It's a 15-inch laptop that promises to have it all for people looking for a lightweight, fast, and long-lasting computer.

The new Macbook Air not only stands out for its 15.3-inch display but also for being equipped with Apple's M2 chip with an 8-core CPU and a 10-core HPU. According to the company, this processor makes it up to 12 times faster than previous Macbook Air models that had Intel processors.

But what else? The computer also promises to be very light (weighs 3.3 pounds) and be the thinnest laptop on the market. It also has up to 18 hours of battery life, support for Touch ID, Magic Keyboard, and Magsafe. It also features a 6-speaker sound system that offers immersive audio that will surprise you as much as its extremely quiet operation.

The new Macbook Air will be offered in models starting at $1299 USD. It's worth mentioning that it will be sold in models with up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage.
