One of the big announcements of WWDC23, Apple's event for developers, was the announcement of Apple Vision Pro. It is a new augmented reality device that you can use as multiple monitors, a movie theater, video game console, and much more. It is a very ambitious device, but how much will it cost? We have the answer now.
Almost at the end of WWDC23, Apple decided it was time to talk about the release date and price of Apple Vision Pro. Before giving the price, the company said that it is the most advanced personal electronic device that can replace a desk full of monitors, a high-end TV, a sound system, cameras, and more. With this, they hinted that it will be an expensive device.
"In fact, there is so much innovation in Vision Pro that we registered more than 5,000 patents in its development," said Apple. "It lets you replace a desk full of monitors with infinite screen space, so you can be more productive than ever. It delivers stunning entertainment and customized spatial audio (...) If you bought a high-end TV, a sound system, a powerful computer with multiple high-definition displays, a high-end camera, and more, you still wouldn't be close to what Vision Pro delivers".
But then, how much will it cost? Apple's augmented reality device will be sold for $3,499 USD.
If you're wondering how long you have to save up to buy an Apple Vision Pro on its launch day, the answer is "not much." This new augmented reality device will go on sale in early 2024. There is no exact date, but it is most likely to be available for purchase in the first quarter of next year.
More news about Apple Vision Pro and its global launch is expected to be announced in the coming months.
