The debut of Threads, the Twitter-like social network created within Instagram, has been a huge success with tens of millions of users considering it as an alternative to the new restrictive measures imposed by Elon Musk. The debut did not sit well with Twitter, and it only took a few hours for a lawsuit threat to appear due to the similarities between the two platforms. The legal battle looms on the horizon, but someone is laughing at what Musk's company is doing, none other than Reggie Fils-Aimé.
Reggie Fils-Aimé, the former president of Nintendo of America and one of the most well-known and iconic faces of the Japanese company, joined in on the Threads debut to mock the lawsuit threat sent by a representative from Twitter. In case you didn't know, early in the day, Elon Musk's social network accused Meta of improperly appropriating intellectual property and secret information by hiring former Twitter employees who were fired, sparking the first controversy between the two platforms.
This is hilarious!

Nothing proprietary in the current execution of this platform. Other than the constant push to get you to pay for it.https://t.co/eQDpDMNiqM
Reggie Fils-Aimé shared a news article about the situation and made fun of what Twitter is doing because he believes that Meta and Threads are not appropriating anything, and if anything, the only thing Twitter could consider as its own is the fact that it pressures users in every possible way to pay for its unrestricted use.
Taking advantage of the occasion, Reggie shared his Threads profile and stated that he will be posting things on both social networks for now.
